وفقاً لأحدث الأرقام المتاحة ، مؤرخة 2015 ، فإن 3٪ فقط من الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة يتلقون التعليم في المملكة.

ويعني هذا الرقم المذهل أن مستقبل الأطفال ذوي الإعاقات يتسم بالفقر والغموض واليأس ، مما أدى إلى إنشاء برنامج المنح الدراسية على وجه السرعة.

بدأ برنامج المنح الدراسية عام 2009 بدعم من أربعة أطفال ذوي التحديات الذهنية في مراكز تربية خاصة مختلفة أو في مدارس تدعم الدمج.

بحلول عام 2018 ، استفاد 79 طفلاً من البرنامج للعام الدراسي 2018/2019 في مختلف المدارس والمراكز.



تتمثل استراتيجية سناء في إبقاء عائلات الأطفال ذوي الإعاقات الذهنية في حياة أطفالهم ، ولهذا السبب تقدم سناء منحًا جزئية للعائلات المحتاجة ، بحيث تبقى عليها بعض المسؤوليات.

كما تمكن سناء الأسر من اختيار المدرسة التي تختارها لطفلها الذي يناسبها. علاوة على ذلك ، تشجع سناء على تضمين جميع الأطفال ذوي القدرات والخلفيات المختلفة للعيش والتعلم واللعب معًا ، ويتم تقييم نقاط القوة والاحتياجات الفردية لكل طفل.

يتم دعم برنامج المنح الدراسية بالكامل من قبل المجتمع من خلال التمويل والعضوية.

Sponsor a child

You can choose to sponsor one or more children for education in a special needs center or under an inclusive program at a regular school for JD 2000 per year.  The Sponsor a Child program assigns you personally to one of the children that we support in schools.  You will receive an introduction package which gives you basic details on the child, a mid year progress report and an end of year update.  Being under this program enables you to have a virtual connection with the child you support confidentially.
